Library Visit

Today, the kids and I ventured to the local library for storytime. For craft time, they made these cute little teapots in honor of The Teapot Festival going on this week!

Turns out, Tucker did NOT want to participate in any sort of craft. He just wanted to get right down to business and check out some books.

And that's fine with me! He loves books. I hope he continues to love them for the rest of his life.

Kenzie is crazy about reading, too. She tried to sneak 18 books into our pile to take home. The limit is 10. :)

I didn't really have anything particular that I wanted, but I got this one:
Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher
It's on my to-read list so I figured I might as well get it. I'm currently reading Glass by Ellen Hopkins, and I was going to read Identity next, but I need a break from Ms. Hopkins lol. I do love her books (except for Impulse; it wasn't my favorite), but a little variety might do me some good. :)

I also picked up a bag to keep all of our library books in. Eventually, I will get a super cute (or DIY) one, but for now, this will do. AND I helped a really great cause. Go me;)
