{FRIDAY}

Friday was a pretty normal day for the kids and I. Playing, cleaning, and just hanging out. It wasn't as humid outside so we decided to blow some bubbles!

 Dobby likes to photobomb.

The look K is giving Dobby says it all...

But you can't help but love him!!

{SATURDAY}

 Hubbs and I had a date night!! Yayy!

I wore these shoes:

Mostly because I was too lazy to re-paint my toenails they are adorbs.

We ate Chinese and ya'll.....Doug. Tried. Sushi. I had to get proof...

 At least he didn't spit it out...haha!

Although we were with friends...I don't recall any "luck" that night... :(

Then we went to see one of THE best movies I have seen in a looooong time: The Dark Knight Rises. If you haven't seen it yet, it is AMAZING. Go see it. NOW!!

{SUNDAY}

Church. Lunch. Then swimming with family and friends. But I didn't take any pictures..

Sunday Social!

{What is your dream job?}

ACTUALLY....my "dream" job would either be A) to own a bakery or restaurant OR B) to be a travel journalist. You know, so I could get paid to go to exciting, exotic places and write about them:) BUT, since I live in reality, my dream job will be what I'm going to school for; Teaching:)

{If you had just won the lottery and didn't need to work for money, what would you do with your time?}

Oh, well this is easy because my husband and I like to sit around and talk about what would happen if we ever won the lottery. We would make sure the kids' college fund would be put up // We would buy or build a house // New vehicles // Put up some for retirement// Donate to St. Jude's Children's Hospital and LeBonheur Children's Hospital // Travel // And mostly just sit around being fabulous on my front porch drinking margaritas:)

{When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?}

I always wanted to either be a veterinarian or a teacher. I was a huge animal lover and literally tried to bring home every sick, injured, or lost animal. I also used to line up all of my stuffed animals and hand out papers for homework :)

{What piece career advice would you give to someone just starting out in your field?}

Well, I'm not in a field...so I don't think this applies to me. Unless, blogging counts. In that case, new bloggers just need to stay true to who they are...don't try to be like everyone else or impress anyone. 

{Biggest Pet Peeves either in life or in blogging or at work}

Life: People who think they are too good for things. People who can't drive. People who are always negative. People who brag. And just people in general, mostly. :P

Blogging: I don't like rude bloggers. There are a couple of blogs I've ran across that just seem to have this "Holier than thou" attitude. Blahhh. It's not cute people.

{Biggest Fears}

Death. Small spaces. Clowns. The dark. Bugs. Snakes. Car accidents.

This week has been a slow one for me. I've just felt so lazy and tired and pissy. 

SCREW YOU CRAZY WOMAN HORMONES!!

But, we did have an exciting Wednesday...Kenzie got to do a little modeling for a local boutique. We went to a local photographer, Brandy Kemp, to take the pictures. She's awesome. Like, amazingly awesome.

And so is my Kenz:

Although I AM partial, I do think she has a knack for being in front of the camera:) 

Ya'll, she soaked up every minute of getting her picture done. This stuff is her calling! One of these days you will see Miss Kenzie Lane on American Idol, Broadway, the big screen, or (heaven forbid) a reality show LOL!

Weekend Recap

It's MONDAY! How exciting! -said no one ever.

This weekend was a very laid back and enjoyable one. 

{Friday}

Tucker man got a new bed!

Can you tell he's a little obsessed...cars on a car bed.

The husband and I watched these two movies:

 

 {Saturday}

I tried doing a little DIY-ing Saturday morning....turns out, I'm not so good with tshirt crafts. Or patience.

Here's what happened:

 Step one: Remove dog from tshirt.

Step two: Attempt once more to remove dog from tshirt before cutting strips. Otherwise, there might be a mess.

 Step three: Attempt to braid strips as shown on right.

Step four: Get frustrated because you can't get it to look like the picture and throw all t-shirt materials across living room.

Step five: Give each family member a ninja headband and take picture.

 

Then, our besties came over that night and we drank margaritas and talked and laughed and it was very much needed.

 

The men cooked chicken legs on our tiny, tiny grill. 

SOMEONE ran over our normal grill......... 

it was me.

{Sunday}

I slept until 12pm and THAT was much needed. (Thank you awesome mother-in-law!!)

 We pretty much did nothing Sunday.

I didn't even cook...we ordered pizza lol.

And we watched these movies:

And btw....I watched these movies when I was way younger so it was like they were brand new again to me....but boy oh boy did I not realize how super good looking Robin is! ;)

I've got the fever...

I'm having huge baby fever.

HUGE people.

And I swear, every blog I have come across the last couple of days, there are preggo ladies everywhere. Why must you be so mean to me!

I'm just kidding:) It's not ya'lls fault that I'm done having kids.....

*insert the most saddest face ever*

So instead of me getting all pregnant and junk again, I decided to dedicate this post to my non-existing pregnancy. 

Because that's not weird at all....

The announcement! Because it's not official until it's Facebook official!

Then I would totes have a gender reveal party, rather than a shower. 

And then I would put yellow balloons in the box so no one would ever know the sex! haha just kidding;)

oh.

Okay, nevermind. Baby fever over.

Can one just be pregnant and have the baby magically removed? Let's make this happen smart scientists, kthnks.

Since this Mama is never having any more babies, I will just reminince my past pregnancies.

{Pregnancy #2}

With Tucker (my 2nd pregnancy) Doug used to call me planet Lauren. And it's true. I had my own solar system rotating around my hugely pregnant belly.
And I wouldn't have changed a thing:)

And now I have these two beautiful creatures to show for all that hard labor
