It's A New Year!

1. READ MORE. Seriously, I've been slacking in the reading department (along with a few more departments.) I've made my 2013 "To Read" list here.

2. Focus on school a LOT more than I did this past semester. Let's make all A's okay?!

3. Start a workout program. Whether it be walking, running, 30 Day Shred, yoga, SOMETHING! I need to focus on being more healthy.

4. This sort of goes along with #3, but I need to drink more water.

5.Take more pictures! I would reeeeealy love a fancy-smancy camera, but for now, my iPhone will work just fine. I just need to use it more! I need to document more! (I also need to start actually printing my photos instead of just storing them on the laptop).

6. Spend more time ALONE with my husband. We rarely get to do anything together without the kids, besides after they go to bed. But that pretty much just involves watching tv/movies or me on the computer/reading and him playing video games.

7. Be CRAFTY! I've pinned like 483920482930420 things on Pinterest to make/do, and I've barely done any of them. I'm not super crafty, so I'll keep it simple haha! I also would LOVE to learn to sew.

8. Keep a journal. I've been wanting to do this for awhile. I mean, my blog is like my journal, but I want to write more personal things so maybe my children will read them later in life and get to see what my life was really like.

9. CLEAN UP MY FACEBOOK.
Ya'll know what I'm talking about. I need to get rid of the negatives, the annoyings, and the "why did I add you in the first place?".

10. DO more with my kids. Read more at bedtime, do more little crafts, play outside more. Just be the Mother they will want to tell their children about:)

11. Try to do more for myself. I always feel guilty when I purchase something for myself, whether it be a bottle of nail polish, or a frappe. I feel like because I'M getting something, my children aren't. But in reality, they get things all. the. time. So 2013, be good to this momma! :)

12. Start waking up earlier. Like before anyone in the house. I feel like I have no time to do anything in one day. So maybe if I have some coffee time in the early morning, I will be able to get a few things done (like blogging) ;)

13. Be happy. Love me. BE myself. Quit worrying what others think of me.

And now, onto my blog goals!

1. I'm no longer going to provide paid sponsorship/giveaways for ad spaces. I just don't think I'm "there" yet to be able to have people pay me to have them on their blog.
But I'm still offering button swaps! :)

2. I'm going to TRY to figure out a new blog layout. I really want to pay someone to do it, but I just don't have $50 to dish out for my blog.
So if you know of anyone who does awesome work for little pay (hehe), let me know!!
Help a broke girl out!

3. I'm no longer going to participate in a bunch of blog hop linkups. Some of them, maybe. But I want to start following the blogs I actually LIKE, rather than just trying to gain readers from their blog hops.

4. Actually MEET other bloggers! I had to miss the meet up in Memphis last month with Alyssa and Paige but HOPEFULLY there will be another one in the near future! *wink wink*

I'm linking up to these blogs today!

Happy New Year Lauren!

I am hoping to revamp my blog design as well. I don't really have the cash to shell out either so I am always looking for giveaways that have free graphic designs. Good luck on accomplishing all of your goals!
Thanks for linking up!!

Hi Lauren. Found you from the 13 in 2013 link up! Love your goals. I have many similar ones... I too am making some changes to my blog this year including scaling down on ads and sponsors. Transitioning out of that world a little. Good luck with all of your goals!

Love your goal to be crafty. That's my biggest goal of the year to make more, share more, and do more crafting.
